Under the honorary founding leadership of First Lady Emine Erdoğan, the Zero Waste Foundation hosted the Zero Waste Forum.

This year’s Zero Waste Forum, where we witnessed the world’s strong steps toward sustainability, became a global meeting point addressing transformation across a wide spectrum — from environmental policies to production systems.

Among the forum’s speakers were:

• Mukhtar Babayev — Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan and President of COP29 Azerbaijan

• Murat Kurum — Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change of the Republic of Türkiye

• Samed Ağırbaş — President of the Zero Waste Foundation

• Inger Andersen — Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and United Nations Under-Secretary-General

These distinguished speakers emphasized the intersection of public, private sector, and individual responsibility in combating the climate crisis, while sharing their visions for the future of zero-waste production models and the circular economy.

Packoroma: A Nature-Conscious Production Approach

Driven by the goal of promoting and expanding the zero waste philosophy, Packoroma once again represented its nature-conscious production approach on this international platform. Throughout the event, all product packaging used was produced entirely from natural, compostable, and plastic-free materials.

Packoroma’s sustainability and innovation-focused design approach embodied the forum’s theme, showcasing the aesthetic and environmentally conscious face of industrial transformation.
