UNIDO Top Innovation Award for Packoroma

Packoroma, which develops innovative solutions in sustainable packaging, achieved a significant success on an international scale. The company was honored with the Top 5 Innovation Award במסגרת the ONE World Sustainability Awards presented by United Nations Industrial Development Organization, proudly representing Türkiye on the global stage.

This prestigious award was presented during the Global Industry Summit 2025 held in Riyadh. The summit took place alongside UNIDO’s 21st General Conference and became one of the largest-scale events in UNIDO’s history, bringing together ministry representatives, international industry leaders, and sustainability-focused organizations. Throughout the event, topics such as the future of global industry, green transformation, and the circular economy were discussed on an international level.

Packoroma’s award was presented on stage by Gerd Müller, Director General of United Nations Industrial Development Organization. The presence of Nobel Prize-associated figures on the evaluation committee strongly reinforced why BioRoma’s circular, compostable, and reusable technology is regarded as a new global standard.

The UNIDO Top 5 Innovation Award is presented to projects selected among approximately 2,000 companies from more than 100 countries worldwide. The presence of Nobel Prize-associated jury members in the evaluation process demonstrates that the selection was conducted through a highly selective scientific and international framework. Packoroma’s successful achievement through this rigorous evaluation process highlights the company’s remarkable level of advancement in sustainable material innovation and its growing global recognition.

Packoroma’s success at the Global Industry Summit 2025 in Riyadh also represented Türkiye’s manufacturing strength, innovation capacity, and sustainable industrial vision on the international stage.
